Volunteering

Next Volunteer Open House coming on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 7 p.m.

Aviation Museum volunteers often bring fun and hands-on programs to local schools.

Want to make a lasting difference in a young person’s life? Want to help yesterday’s great stories inspire tomorrow’s aerospace achievers?

The Aviation Museum of New Hampshire will hold our next Volunteer Open House on Wednesday, Oct. 8 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. It’s a great way to learn more about the many ways volunteers contribute to the museum’s mission and make a difference.

Learn more at our Volunteer Open House Page.

Volunteering at the Aviation Museum is open to anyone, whether or not you have an aviation background. The only requirements are an interest in flight, a willingness to learn, a passion for the great tales of the past, and a desire to inspire young and the young at heart. All are welcome!

If you plan to attend, please let us know by calling Debbora Losch at (603) 669-4820 ext. 405 or by email at dlosch@nhahs.org.

Our Annual Volunteer Appreciation BBQ

Once a year (usually in May), our board of directors holds our Volunteer Appreciation BBQ at the museum. It’s a chance to celebrate and recognize all that volunteers do for the museum all year long. Enjoy photos from the most recent BBQ, held on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at the Aviation Museum of N.H.
