Screening of new 'Ice Eagles' documentary

RESCHEDULED TO FEBRUARY 20, 2020

Thursday, Jan. 30 at 7 p.m.: Antarctica is the most extreme environment on earth. That reality has confronted every American aviation team since the first Byrd Antarctic Expedition in 1928-30. 'Ice Eagles' is the story of flying in this extreme environment, back then and through to the current day: a stunning look at U.S. military aviation operating under incredible cold weather adversity. Introduced LIVE by director Tom Henderson, a veteran with two tours of duty in Antarctica, who will visit the Aviation Museum to discuss his film, flying at the "bottom of the world," and answer questions about his work. Museum admission of $10 per person.
