Daniel Webster College Reunion / Book Project

The event filled the basketball gymnasium, part of Lucille Jordan Commons at Nashua Community College in Nashua, N.H.

More than 250 Daniel Webster College alumni, staff, faculty and friends attended a 60th anniversary Reunion / Celebration, which took place on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at Nashua Community College in Nashua, N.H.

The event was organized by the Aviation Museum of N.H. to raise funds and gain support for the publishing of a book about Daniel Webster College, which operated from 1965 to 2017. For many years, the school boasted one of the nation’s top aviation programs; today, thousands of Daniel Webster grads continue to work in aviation and aerospace.

The event was co-chaired by former DWC presidents Hannah McCarthy and Lou D’Allesandro. It featured a buffet dinner, a program of speakers, and the world premiere of a new video about Daniel Webster College and the Aviation Museum’s plans to publish a book.

Here’s a link to the video, which was produced by Back Lot Films of Fremont, N.H.:

The event also offered a chance for members of the Daniel Webster community to catch up with classmates, faculty, and staff from an institution of higher learning that continues to have a major impact, especially in its home area of southern New Hampshire, where Daniel Webster College and its predecessor, the New England Aeronautical Institute, operated from 1965 to 2017.

That’s more than 50 years, and tens of thousands of graduates. And we think that’s something to celebrate. It represents a spirit and a shared experience worth renewing, maintaining, and keeping strong.

If you’d like to share your Daniel Webster College story with us for the book, let us know. Contact Leah Dearborn, the Aviation Museum’s associate director, at (603) 669-4877 or via email at ldearborn@nhahs.org.

The event raised about $25,000 to help cover the cost of publishing the book, which is due out in 2027. Thank you to all who donated! That’s about half the estimated $50,000 we’ll need to cover the cost of writing, editing, and publishing ‘Daniel Webster College: An Enduring Legacy.’

Make a tax-deductible contribution to Aviation Museum to help us publish the book by visiting our Daniel Webster Book Donation Page on this website.

Many thanks to the sponsors of this event, which included the N.H. Charitable Foundation, Nashua Community College, Celebrations Catering, and Molloy Sound & Video.

The Aviation Museum of N.H. is dedicated to providing young people pathways to careers in aviation, in the spirit of Daniel Webster College and its predecessor, the New England Aeronautical Institute. The museum is also home to an extensive collection of DWC memorabilia and artifacts.
