Every Friday is ‘Family Friday’ at the Aviation Museum!

Every Friday, families with young children can enjoy special activities from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Aviation Museum of N.H.

Every Friday is “Family Friday” at the Aviation Museum of New Hampshire, where from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. we have special activities for parents and their little ones in our classroom.

Admission is free to visitors age 5 and under, so it’s a great way to get out, meet other families, and enjoy some quality time doing fun hands-on projects with us.

We regularly change up the activities, too, so you’ll want to come back again and again. Make Family Fridays a regular habit! (And here’s a tip: the activities are often available on Saturdays and Sundays, too.)

Activities for October, 2026 include:

• Make your own Halloween treat bags in advance of our “Haunted Halloween Hangar” on Saturday, Oct. 24. Young artists can customize them with their names.

• Make your own spooky bookmarks, which you can use while exploring our extensive library of children’s aviation books.

• Fun pumpkin face magnets and a new seasonal sport: “Candy Corn Bowling,” where you can make the pins fly.

Plus there’s always the real-life excitement of airplanes landing and taking off right outside our front door!

See you at the Aviation Museum, named ‘Best Place to Take Kids’ six years running in the Hippo Readers’ Poll!
