Looking for a weekend family activity? Visit the Aviation Museum of N.H., where it starts with free plane-watching at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport next door and then a visit inside the museum to learn all about the magic—and science!—of flight, as found in stories of the many fascinating N.H. people who’ve made contributions to aviation and aerospace over the past two centuries. (Yes, even before the Wright Brothers!) We’re open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday 1 to 4 p.m.

Also, each Saturday starting at 1 p.m. it’s Simulator Saturday, where visitors 13 and up can try our professional Elite Flight Simulator, guided by experienced docents through takeoff, flight, and landing. (Simulator use included with museum admission, first-come, first-served. For the museum’s admission prices, check out our ‘Hours and Admissions‘ page.)
Below, check out photos and video from a recent simulator session guided by volunteer Alan Goetz. Discover why the Aviation Museum was named ‘Best Place to Take Kids’ six years in row by HippoPress readers.
See you at the museum!
