Families! Have fun and learn about flight with this month’s Family Fun Friday activity—making airplanes out of Popsicle sticks and clothespins!
All during May, young visitors to the Aviation Museum can make their own Popsicle stick airplanes on Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Fridays for all-day plane-building are May 1, May 8, May 15, and May 29. On Friday, May 22, we can only offer plane-building in the afternoon from 1 to 4 p.m.
We’ll have all the supplies ready, and show you step-by-step how to construct your very own airplane!
Family Fun Friday activities take place every Friday at the Aviation Museum, 27 Navigator Road, Londonderry, N.H.
Airplane-making is intended for families with young children, but the activity is open to everyone and all are invited. Regular admission applies—but children 5 and under are always free, so it’s a great (and inexpensive) way for families with young children to visit us, enjoy a fun activity together, and explore the Aviation Museum.
We’re right next to Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, so there’s always planes to watch, too!
Come find out why the Aviation Museum of N.H. was named ‘Best Place to Take Kids’ in southern New Hampshire the past six years by HippoPress readers.
