EXTENDED to Sunday, Jan. 11! This year’s ‘Holiday Festival of Toy Planes and Model Aircraft’ at the Aviation Museum has been extended an extra week!

The exhibit, featuring more than 1,000 model aircraft and toy planes, will remain on display through Sunday, Jan. 11. This will give families an extra week to experience the exhibit, which celebrates the long-standing phenomenon of many great aviation careers starting with a model or toy plane under a Christmas tree.

This year’s exhibit features a wide range of models and toys from the Aviation Museum’s collection, including playthings going back to the Lindbergh craze in the 1920s, plus two rarely seen large-scale cast aluminum models used by travel agencies in the 1950s. And there’s our ever-popular Christmas tree decorated with vintage airline barf bags!

Santa may have come and gone from the Aviation Museum, but there’s still plenty of candy canes for all good boys and girls. So don’t let this holiday season pass without taking in this year’s ‘Holiday Festival of Toy Planes and Model Aircraft,’ only at the Aviation Museum of N.H., 27 Navigator Road, Londonderry, N.H. We’re open Wednesdays through Saturdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Sundays 1 to 4 p.m.
