Three great reasons to visit the Aviation Museum of N.H. this holiday season!

Santa meets a fan during his visit to the Aviation Museum of N.H. on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025.

Santa Claus visited the Aviation Museum of N.H. this holiday season—and so should you!

This year, make the Aviation Museum of N.H. part of your family’s holiday celebration. Check out three great reasons to visit during this most wonderful time of the year.

1. Great gift ideas and extra store hours!

Our store is packed with great hard-to-find aviation items perfect for the plane-lovers in your life. You’ll find clothing, models, toys, books and much more. Also, N.H. Museum Heritage Trail passports ($30 to visit 21 museums) make great stocking stuffers! Our store is open EXTRA DAYS for last-minute shopping: Monday, Dec. 22 and Tuesday, Dec. 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; no admission charge to visit the Aviation Museum store.

2. Additional days during the holiday break!

To give families a chance to visit, we’ve added extra days during the upcoming school holiday break. In addition to our regular schedule (Wednesdays through Saturdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sundays 1 to 4 p.m.), we’ll be open on Monday, Dec. 29 and Tuesday, Dec. 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Come see our fabulous holiday ‘Festival of Toy Planes and Model Aircraft,’ with more than 1,000 toys and models from our collection dating all the way back to the days of Charles Lindbergh! (Please note the museum will be closed on Christmas Eve (Dec. 24); Christmas Day (Dec. 25); and New Year’s Day (Jan. 1.)

3. More Flight Simulator time!

Our Elite Flight Simulator will operate extra days to give visitors a change to experience takeoff, flight, and (hopefully) landing! In addition to the normal “Simulator Saturday” schedule of Saturdays from 1 to 4 p.m., the simulator will be running on Monday, Dec. 29 and Tuesday, Dec. 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Simulator is suitable for visitors age 13 and up; first come, first served; simulator use is included with Aviation Museum admission.
