Volunteers make quick work of mailing Aviation Museum’s holiday cards

Some of the vintage Christmas stamps used on our holiday cards!

Neither snow, nor rain, nor dark of night will keep volunteers at the Aviation Museum of N.H. from getting out the mail!

Many thanks to a team of hardy souls who gave up a recent morning to prep, stuff, and lick (and hopefully not fold, spindle, or mutilate) several hundred holiday cards as well as a mailing to all public libraries in our service area in N.H. and Massachusetts.

Their efforts and attention to detail made it possible to use up a supply of low-denomination Christmas-themed stamps we’ve accumulated over the years, saving us quite a bit in postage.

Happy holidays and let’s hear it for mail that’s neither bills nor junk!
