Last call for Gala tickets!
Want to support N.H. high school students building airplanes? Then join us on Friday, Oct. 10 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton, 700 Elm St., Manchester for the Aviation Museum’s Fall Gala, where we’ll celebrate the success of our student plane-building program, now active in three N.H. school districts: Manchester, Lebanon, and now Farmington! (All at no direct cost to local taxpayers!)
UPDATE: Tickets may be bought online until Thursday, Oct. 9 at 11:59 p.m. After that, a very limited number of tickets will be available at the door. If planning to attend, advance purchase of tickets is strongly recommended.
Every day, high school students in these communities go to school and work on assembling a Van’s Aircraft RV-12iS two-seat all-metal recreational aircraft, alongside adult mentors from our museum community who volunteer their time every day in the workshop. Meet the students, the mentors, and also our special Guest of Honor: aviation legend Richard VanGrunsven, founder of Van’s Aircraft and designer of the RV-12iS. (Those are his initials in the plane’s name!)
“Van” will be welcomed by Manchester Mayor Jay Ruais, and interviewed on stage by WMUR-TV’s Erin Fehlau. You’ll also enjoy gourmet meal, live music, plus participate in our fabulous silent auction and legendary raffle. All of this, plus your presence, will help raise funds to secure the future (and possible expansion) of student plane-building in the Granite State via the Aviation Museum and our partner, Tango Flight.
Get your tickets today our Annual Gala page at our Gala or call (603) 669-4877; tickets are $125 per person; $800 for a table of 8. Don’t wait! Join us on Friday, Oct. 10 for a memorable evening that will give young people a chance to reach for the skies!
