Student plane-build program on N.H. Chronicle on Thursday, Oct. 2!

Samantha DeMino, a student at the Manchester (N.H.) School of Technology, poses with WMUR-TV’s Erin Fehlau in front of the student-built RV-12iS aircraft.

We’re on TV! Watch NH Chronicle on Thursday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. and you’ll see an updated version of the segment aired two years ago about the Aviation Museum of N.H.’s high school student plane-building program.

The plane-building program, a partnership with non-profit Tango Flight, is currently active in three N.H. high schools in Manchester, Lebanon, and Farmington.

Why update the segment? Because Dick VanGrunsven, designer of aircraft our students are building, is coming to N.H. next week to visit the plane-building workshops and be Guest of Honor at our 2025 Gala, which is Friday, Oct. 10 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton, 700 Elm St., Manchester.

Mr. VanGrunsven, an aviation legend, will be interviewed on stage by Chronicle co-host Erin Fehlau!

So don’t miss N.H. Chronicle this Thursday night at 7 p.m. and be sure to attend our Gala on Friday, Oct. 10. For more info and to buy tickets, visit our Gala page.
