‘Take Flight’ plane-building program at Lebanon High School enters second year

The ‘Take Flight’ workshop at Lebanon (N.H.) High School.

Students, mentors, and faculty at Lebanon (N.H.) High School are back in the workshop as Year 2 of the ‘Take Flight’ plane-building program gets underway.

Returning students will focus on completing the first plane, which was started in the 2024-25 school year. Students new to the program are learning shop basics and will then tackle the first stages of Plane #2—their own aircraft.

For more info about the ‘Take Flight’ plane-building program, visit our page chronicling the project. (You can also donate to help support this program, which uses no local school property tax funds.)

The program is a partnership between the non-profit Aviation Museum of N.H., Tango Flight, and the Lebanon School District.

And if you’d like to meet students, mentors, and faculty in the program, we’ll be at LebFest on Saturday, Sept. 20 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. See you there!
