Plane-building begins in Lebanon High School’s newly renovated workshop/hangar

First day in the newly renovated ‘Take Flight’ high school plane-building workshop/hangar at Lebanon High School.

After nine months of preparations, the plane-build has achieved lift-off!

This week, students at Lebanon High School, with support of faculty, administration, and a team of volunteer mentors, began the assembly of a two-seat all-metal Van’s Aircraft RV-12iS.

It’s all part of ‘Take Flight,’ a partnership between the high school, the Aviation Museum of N.H., and Tango Flight, a Texas-based educational non-profit that facilitate student plane-build project.
