Aviation Museum welcomes Camp Bienvenue from Franco-American Centre

Education Director Nathan MacDonald and members of Camp Bienvenue outside the Aviation Museum of N.H.

Bon voyage! On Wednesday, Aug. 14, members of Franco-American Centre’s Camp Bienvenue visited the Aviation Museum.

Their arrival coincided with the takeoff of two very different aircraft: a Southwest Airlines 737-700 painted in a special “Louisiana One” livery bound for Baltimore, followed by an Embraer Legacy 450 twin-jet heading for Harrisburg, Penn.

Education Director Nathan MacDonald provided perspective and background to the group, which is a kids camp for French-speaking immigrant children, the goal of which is to introduce them to their new “neighborhood” of southern New Hampshire!
