‘Take Flight’ plane-building program at Lebanon High School attracts volunteer mentors

Interest in the ‘Take Flight’ student plane-building program at Lebanon High School is growing!

On Wednesday, May 8, more than a dozen prospective volunteer mentors attended an open house held at Lebanon High. Volunteers will play an important role mentoring students in the workshop as they start building their first airplane this coming September.

Volunteers brought diverse skills and backgrounds. Other volunteer orientation events will follow, culminating in a two-day training program conducted in August at the school prior to the program start-up.
