Student-built plane featured at 2024 Made in N.H. Expo

This year’s Made in N.H. Expo really flew by, which makes sense because it included the Van’s RV-12iS aircraft built by students at the Manchester School of Technology. The Expo, held Friday, April 5 through Sunday, April 7 at the Center of NH Expo Center, drew thousands of attendees.

The Aviation Museum of New Hampshire was delighted to put the student-built plane on display—not only was it made in New Hampshire, but it helped spread the word about new airplane-building programs starting at Lebanon High School this year and Farmington High School in 2025. Winner of a ride in the student-built plane, drawn at random, was Patty Parker of Antrim, N.H.

Thanks to the publishers and staff of Business NH Magazine, which organizes the Expo, and all our volunteers for the opportunity to showcase the Aviation Museum’s high school student plane-building program, operated in the Granite State in partnership with Tango Flight. Thanks also to Spectrum printing for the vibrant new displays that tell the story of the plane-building program in pictures!
