"9-11 – Clearing the Skies, an Air Traffic Control Perspective” - Saturday, April 14, 2018

Join us for a presentation at 11AM by Robert K. Jones, General Manager, New England Federal Aviation Administration.  On September 11, 2001, Robert worked at the FAA's Boston Center and was part of the team providing response during the nation's most challenging time. Robert was interviewed by CNN for his role, and a portion of that interview appeared in the CNN special "The Footnotes of 9/11". Seating is limited. Please reserve your seat(s).

Robert will speak about:

• The role of Air Traffic in New England, and why New England is unique with regard to international flight handling.

• Will show a replay of the clearing of the skies, and speak to what the FAA had to do that day, to include coordination with Canada to handle to rush of unexpected international arrivals.

Regular Museum admission applies. Members receive free admission.  Please contact Stacy Borden at 603-669-4820 to reserve your seat(s). Seating is limited!
